By using Backchannel ("the Game"), you agree to these terms. The Game is operated by IGELWERKS ("we", "us").

Account

You must sign in with a Google account to use the Game. You are responsible for your account activity. One account per person.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to play on your behalf
• Exploit bugs or glitches — report them instead
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
• Attempt to access other players' accounts or private game data
• Interfere with the Game's infrastructure or other players' experience

Game Rules

The Game is a multiplayer strategy game involving negotiation, alliances, and conflict. In-game deception (bluffing, broken agreements) is part of gameplay and is not a violation of these terms. Out-of-game harassment is.

Availability

The Game is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uptime, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Game at any time. During alpha/beta phases, expect rough edges, data resets, and breaking changes.

Intellectual Property

The Game, its code, art, and design are owned by IGELWERKS. You retain no rights to Game content. User-created maps are licensed to us for use within the Game.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may stop using the Game at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IGELWERKS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
